Cuerva was founded in Granada in 1939. It is a local company with a global mindset committed to innovation that seeks new and better ways of understanding and working with energy.


The world has dramatically changed the way it understands energy in recent decades.

Cuerva has undergone a parallel transformation from a small family business to a cutting-edge enterprise with an important role to play in the energy transition. This mission also demands that we rethink our brand identity.

Immersing ourselves in this transformational current was not optional for a company like Cuerva, a renewable native committed to the sector since its beginnings 80 years ago. Nor is continuing to take care of our traditional business optional since it is the rock we stand on and enables us to advance hand-in-hand with our communities.

Taking energy to the next level 

Sharing the rebranding makes sense now that we have proven we are an action-oriented company that takes an active part in transforming the sector. The change is not merely visual but reflects the commitment and challenge involved in taking energy to the next level.

Values such as creating synergies, innovation and knowledge-sharing are part of Cuerva's DNA. For all these reasons, true to our values and aware that the society within which the energy sector works demands information and transparency, we would like to open the door and offer our group companies as partners for players interested in shedding light on the sector.

Rosa Fernández, Marketing Manager at Cuerva
Rosa joined Cuerva in August 2021 to lead and develop the brand-new Marketing department. She holds a Master's degree in International Marketing Management from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada. With this multi-skilled approach, she is responsible for the strategy and development of marketing, branding, and communication actions for all Cuerva's business areas. Before joining the energy company, she has great experience in large, fast-pased multinational companies. She worked as Branding and Marketing Executive for Shell Italia in Milan and for the UK standards body, British Standards Institution, as Marketing Coordinator, for the Spanish and Italian markets, developing a wide range of global campaigns.
