Distribuidora Eléctrica Bermejales obtains authorisation as a Distribution Network Management Control Centre (CCGRD)
The electricity company is officially authorised by Red Eléctrica to operate as a control centre for the management and supervision of an electricity distribution network
Granada. 19/12/2024. Distribuidora Eléctrica Bermejales, one of Cuerva's distribution companies along with Guadalfeo, San Buenaventura and San Gregorio, has been officially authorised by Red Eléctrica, the Spanish electricity system operator, as a Distribution Grid Management Control Centre (CCGRD).
This authorisation certifies the utility's ability to operate and supervise the electricity distribution grid under the highest standards of efficiency and safety, in accordance with current regulations.
The authorisation, granted by Red Eléctrica, endorses that Distribuidora Eléctrica Bermejales complies with the conditions required to operate as a control centre. This includes the availability and operability of an advanced control system, with sufficient communication capacities to supply all the necessary information in real time to Red Eléctrica's control centres, as stipulated in current operating procedures.
